Today your child came home with their progress report. Please celebrate all the new things your child has learned and the progress they have made so far this year! I am looking forward to all the learning still to come the rest of the year.
Please remember that on your child's progress report, a mark of "AC" indicates that he/she is performing at grade level for this time of year and there is no cause for concern. As the material has increased in difficulty and the expectations have risen since last term, a mark of AC means they have been keeping up with the increase.
Please also keep in mind that NY is not "failing," as I remind the students regularly, it simply means they still have work left to do on that particular topic or subject.
Looking forward to meeting with all of you next week at interviews!
