We have started our introduction to fractions! We have been exploring how all fractions are parts of a whole, and how the denominator tells us how many pieces in total, and the numerator tells us how many pieces we are dealing with.
The first rule of fractions that will help students figure them out, is the bigger the denominator, the smaller the pieces! :)
